Round models in the stores?
While many women dream of having a sexy body like Miranda Kerr or as sports as Izabel Goulart, not all of us have the body as them, this is not the case for most of us.
The fact is that in 38 size of the models we see in stores do not allow us to show us the reality and dont make us to look ourselves properly in these clothes. How do I know if this clothes goes with me as i see at the photo presentation with top model 50 kg for 1 m 75?
And if we stop the anorexic models to return more to reality?
Thanks to the internet many shops specializing in big sizes (but small sizes) were launched. Major brands even throw collections specifically designed for curvy women. But this is not the case for all retailers and expected to remain the standard 38, and for a long time.
An initiative with more curvy mannequins
An initiative may however make a difference. Sweden has a shop in her underwear on mannequins forms more generous than usual. A photo was taken and posted on the Facebook page Women’s Right News. With more than 58,000 “I Like” and more than 3000 comments welcome the operation in less than a week, we can say that this is a plebiscite.
Time ago the store and mark H&M make possible this initiative, that would actually be in a store an American brand (it does not seem to be the famous Victoria’s Secret models which do everything to lose weight after pregnancy). H&M had to deny the origin of the initiative, but this action has seemed interesting.
Asked on RTBF, Marianne Nerinckx, spokesman for H&M in Belgium and Luxembourg, said that the group could use more realistic models. It would be indeed a return to reality, because even this is teach at U.S. and does not seem to respect the proportions. If the curves of the body look like to be more realistic, this is not the case of the heads. The creators of these plastic mannequins have certainly picked mussels as usual. Bad luck. In any case it should motivate them to buzz go through things. We want!
